On June 15, 1915, the Board of Trustees established Student Health Services on the campus of The Ohio State University. Originally located in Hayes Hall, Student Health Services found its current home in the John W. Wilce Student Health Center in December 1969.

Founded on the principles of “Health First” and “Prevention is greater than the cure” Student Life Student Health Services provides comprehensive ambulatory health care services to the students of The Ohio State University.
